Terms & conditions: ( 1 ) The Prospective bidders are
required to deposit Rs.10,00,000/- (Rupees ten lakh only) for
each bid by way of Demand draft in favour of
HSIIDC payable at Panchkula towards earnest money
before commencement of auction. ( 2 ) In case of acceptance of
the bid, the highest bidder shall be required to deposit the balance amount so as to make
the total amount equivalent to 10% of the bid amount within 7 days. (
3 ) 25% (including 10% deposited as per 1 & 2 above) within one month from the
date of confirmation of sale; Agreement to Sell Will also be executed on receipt of 25%
payment. ( 4 ) The remaining 75% can be paid within one year in
quarterly instalments at prevailing rate of interest (13%
p.a.- floating) starting from one month after the confirmation of sale. Alternatively,
balance 75% can be paid within three months without any interest. ( 5 ) The sale deed of property,shall be
executed in favour of the purchaser after receipt of 100% of
the bid amount and interest due thereon. ( 6 ) If the highest
bidder withdraws the bid and/or fails to comply with the conditions of sale or fail
to pay the dues on time, the earnest money and the amount deposited shall be forfeited. ( 7 ) The Managing Director reserves the right to alter the terms and

HSIIDC invited applications for allotment of industrial
plots in industrial estate at Narwana (Distt.
Jind) through advertisements appearing in this newspaper on
20.05.2008 and 24.06.2008. The last date for receipt of applications was 30th June 2008.
As per the Estate Management Procedures 2005 (EMP-2005) Narwana
industrial estate falls under the low potential zone hence, the allotment in this estate

Committee on the Indian Diaspora. The composition of the committee is as follows:

Formation of this High Level Committee underlines the
great importance the Government attaches to the Indian Diaspora and their relations with
the mother country.
For the first time, the Committee has made a
comprehensive estimate of the size of the Indian communities. 53 countries have Indian
communities numbering 9000 or more. 10 countries have half a million or more. The total
number of Indian Diaspora is estimated at 20 million.
The Committee is expected to submit its report to the
External Affairs Minister. For this the Committee have decided to commision a Comprehensive Database and to constitute sub-groups to
conduct intensive and comprehensive studies on important topics such as, Constitutional
and legal provisions relating to NRIs/PIOs(Person of Indian Orgin), Citizenship & nationality issues, Education, Culture,
Tourism, Consular problems of Indian workers abroad, Science & Technology, Information
Technology & other hi-tech areas, Security-related issues, Trade & Investment,
Honors & awards and Comparative Diasporic studies.
We welcome inputs and suggestions from individuals,
professional bodies, educational and research institutions, political leaders and opinion
makers in the media and outside. The Committee will soon establish its own web-site in
order to engage in extensive and intensive interaction with a broad cross section of
Indian communities abroad and concerned people and institutions in India.
